Why I'm up at 4:30 on Christmas Eve morning I have no idea but although I absolutely love Christmas, one can't help but be touched by the memories of our loved ones. I lost my mom to cancer nine years ago, and Christmas always brings her to mind. We were as close as a mother and daughter could be and I just miss her so much right now. I am curled up on my couch covered with her afghan she made back in the 70s. Remember those ones with all the crazy yarn colors I love it. I feel surrounded by her when I use it. Don't mean to be a downer as I am not sad but just feeling some Christmas melancholy. Want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas full of love and blessings. I feel especially tickled this year to see Christmas through the eyes of my two year old. I never thought we would have a little one again, so to share it with her is so special.
