My husband is very sentimental and keeps everything I don't sneak into the trash. These blue glass jars were my hubby's grandmothers and I was going to donate them and even had them in the boxes when I noticed they were back in the garage. Hmmm. Then one day I noticed they were in the house and this is what he did with them.
He paired them with some of his glass insulators.
Maybe I could put TV snacks in them. Pretzels and peanuts, M&Ms. Wouldn't even have to walk to kitchen that way.
He has accessorized with the flag banner we can never find a place for. I think I like it here for now.

Your hubby did a great job, setting up and displaying them.... they do look great with the glass insulators.
Blessings & Aloha!
If my husband ever did a vignette...it would probably have car parts! Your hubby did a great job!
I think your husband has a great sense of design.
Your husband is my kind of man!! Good for him, now he can think about his grandmother when he sees them and...pass them on some day!
I think your hubby did wonderful. Love the glass jars with the blue of the flag ;-)
Bless his sweet decorating heart! I love the glass insulators. My Mother has several.
He did a great job! It all looks perfect together.
Wow! Great job decorating hubby!
Your husband?....I'm impressed!
I'm so glad he saved them from being donated. I too love items passed from one generation to the next. It's just a bonus that they look so great!

Okay so your hubbie just earned some *major* cuteness points!!!
Oh, this is so funny! Your hubby wanted to keep his grannies little blue glass canisters. I think they're cute and he did a good job setting up a vignette.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Tres patriotic, and very well assembled.
Who is this man, and why are there not more like him????
I love the blue glass jars and the vignette your husband created! Thanks for joining my party.

I'd say your husband should get to keep those beautiful blue glass jars, especially since her did such a nice vignette with them. Wow!

Wow. A husband that can create vignettes? Please, oh please, don't tell me he can cook, too. That would just totally make me have to go back to bed to process!
I think it's neat that he has those. Quit trying to throw them away!
They would be a perfct hiding place for M&M's.
Thanks for the cute link to Alphabet Soup!
A+
And A++++++++ for your husband and his vignette.

I love that he went to the effort to make a vignette with his grandmother's blue glass. He did a great job. Some of the really old blue glass can be quite valuable. I don't know anything about your pieces. I have one old blue glass bottle that belonged to my grandmother that appraised at $150.00 quite a few years ago. You might want to check it out. Thank you for sharing your hubby's talents with us. Cherry Kay
