Rice Krispies Treats and Summer Plans

I have a daughter who leaves tomorrow for Marine Biology camp out at Catalina Island. She will snorkel, kayak, hike and of course get real hungry so she requested some snacks from home. Of course she wanted Rice Krispie Treats.

So I went poking around their site and thought this was just the cutest thing to make for Father's Day.
A remote control Rice Krispie Treat is perfect for my hubby's dad. He loves his remote. I am so going to make this for him for Father's day. They have lots of cute ideas on their site. The link is below.

Wow! How much fun for your daughter! I would have loved to do something like that when I was younger. Heck.... I'd STILL like to do something like that :)
Cute idea for crispy treats.
We have an up-coming family reunion, and I've decided that my 'pot'luck' will be crispy treats, and peanut butter fingers. Who doesn't love those two treats ??!!
Have a great day!

What a wonderful experience for your daughter! She daughter is going to have so much fun! In preparation for becoming a marine biologist, my son attended marine biology camps when he was in middle and high school and he loved the experience.

The remote control Rice Krispie Treat is too cute!

Hope you are having a great day!

Wow-that looks like a great camp! That's funny that you posted about Rice Krispie treats-yesterday I was thinking about how I use to make those when the kids were younger! (And, wishing I had some in the kitchen)

That is too, too cute. My daughters have always loved rice crispy treats, too.

It sounds like your daughter is going to a fantastic camp. Catalina Island would be a great place to learn about marine biology. Didn't the hotel there catch fire not too long ago? It seems like I heard about it on the news. I have not been there since high school!

Have a wonderful weekend!
