Well, there is nothing like seven hours in an Emergency Room with one of your kids to make you sure appreciate home. Thankfully what they thought was an appendicitis now looks like inflammation from a viral infection. No surgery for now. Sent home to keep a close eye for a few days. The patient has had a nice soak in the tub and is cozy in bed while I am exhausted but so glad to be home. I am heading to bed before 9:00 pm so I must be spent.

Hope things are better this morning. I remember those days so well. Spent 9 hours in the ER with my daughter thinking her appendix was about to burst only to find our it was gas. Fun!! Hope you got some rest.
Oh, my! You have had an exciting past few hours. Scary! I hope you have a very relaxing weekend, and I am so thankful an appendectomy was not necessary.
