Many have asked about how the potty training has been going and I am happy to say well. She is a stubborn cookie but thanks to those that said to just take the diapers away during the day, she caught on with only a couple of accidents in the beginning. But this whole thing has led me to a state of cabin fever. Having to stay home is lovely but having to stay home focused on potty training it not so much fun. You can't really just wander off and do projects, you have to remain focused on the task at hand.
So I puttered when I could and worked in my service porch in small doses.
Spent time in the yard but now we have a cluster of bees in our tree in the backyard which is very troublesome as I have a daughter who is allergic to bees. We have been locked inside since yesterday. I hope they move on on their own soon. My hollyhocks are in full bloom. Like paper flowers.
The first of the zinnias has bloomed. These pink ones reseed in my veggie garden every year. Welcome guests among the tomatoes.

WOW!!!! Your hollyhocks are so pretty. They do look like paper flowers! :D
Continued good luck with the potty training!
Flowers are pretty, but the bees love them. Good luck with the potty training.
So glad to hear the potty training is going well. We had a stubborn little one, he didn't get well trained until he was 4!
Love those hollyhocks. I usually plant the single ones, but that white double is beautiful! Have a great weekend, friend.
PS. Can someone get the bees out for you? Maybe they escaped from someone's hive.
Those hollyhocks are so beautiful...I love the white! I have pink but they are taking a year off this year.
Your hollyhocks are gorgeous. I have two pitiful looking ones that may never get big in this heat. I hope you get to go out soon but if she gets pottie trained soon it will be well worth it! ♥O
Everything looks so inviting and cheerful! Beautiful flowers ..... those hollyhocks really are gorgeous :)
Hope your weekend is a good one.
Gorgeous flowers. How nice that the zinnias reseed each year. ~ sarah
Your flowers are beautiful! Hollyhocks seem to want to be annuals for me, and I was thrilled to see my zinnas are just starting to set buds! Best of luck with the the PT:@)
Potty training is one of those things that really does happen in its own time.
Some kids do not care if they are wet and smelly.
Use lots of positive praise and don't make promises (or threats) you are not emotionally capable of carrying out. (Tiny threats like you can not play with this toy is you are not a big girl or we can't go to the park.)
I wish I knew a bee deterant for you. All I know is they don't like cold. Does not help much.
Beautiful blooms. The hollyhocks are amazing! Zinnias always make me think of my grandmother. Happy Seasonal Sunday!
Such beautiful hollyhocks! Good luck on the potty training. I remember those days! many blessings, marlis
Elaine, thank you for sharing the zinna picture. I love those flowers!

Pretty pictures. I love those hollyhocks, I have never tried to grow them. Oh, potty training, 2 girls and I gave up and they somehow became trained at about 2.5-3 years. No mother of the year award for me!
Pat
Your hollyhock truly look like sheets of sheer paper. Just beautiful.
