My kids always say that. "Mom that is so random." This post is random. A few things I have been up to.
Took down the last little flag that I somehow missed after I put all the Fourth decor away.
I am finally done painting the trim in my room.
You see lots of white smears on the green. I am a messy painter. Now I have to go over those and cover them.
I tried one of these little sponge rollers on my cupboards and door and I loved how quick it was to get the job done. Why have I not been using these all along?
Oh, and I wanted to share something too. You know the other day when I stayed in and cleaned my kitchen as it was too darn hot outside? I wanted to clean the shiny chrome part of the top of the toaster. It had become gunky with sticky stuff from all our toasting. Didn't want to spray anything toxic where our food went so I got out the baking soda and it worked wonders. See...
That's my sourdough toast. I love it with blackberry jam.

The color of your room looks great...I love white trim...I am a little messy too, so I tape everything....it works pretty well...I started that because I kept having to paint the same aras over and over because I'd mess up on one and then the other...it kept going on...Baking soda is a fabulous cleaner...stay cool...it's about normal here...I am in Southern California too...Inland Empire...a wee bit cooler today!
I hate when I get all of the holiday decorations all packed up and put away and find something that I missed! And those rollers are the best thing since sliced bread!

Painting is a soothing chore, I think. Nice shiny toaster! I need to do that to my toaster oven!

Your kid's comment cracked me up...the reason Moms are so random is usually a direct result of being a mom...busy busy busy and we do/say what we can when we can.

Oh darlin, I love that red toaster! I will probably be in the market for a new toaster soon. Perhaps I will look for red too!

We can't get sourdough bread here and I do miss it. Nothing beats sourdough toast.
Random is good my friend, and so is sourdough bread LOL.
