Plain and simple...a wood bowl. I love this bowl I snagged for a few bucks at an antiques shop. I believe it was carved out of one piece of wood. I love to imagine what it was used for.
Too small for a dough bowl I think. If you know please share.
Has a lovely old warm patina.

I love it! My sister in law had one that I coveted for many years. A few years back, they remodeled their home and got rid of all of her antiques. I would have killed for that bowl. Too bad she never thought to ask me!!!

Oh you lucky girl!! It reminds me of a bread bowl.
Ladies would prepare their dough in it. :o) I grind our wheat and bake our bread and I always wondered where to find such a thing. Too cool!
