Took one of my girls and some friends to a local house that really goes all out. They even had a haunted house to walk through this year. Very cool. Screamed twice.
Now for a really scary house....
Hubs and the kids decorate the outside. On Halloween night a fog machine and spooky sounds will top it off.
I have to look out at this guys backside every day when at the kitchen sink.
The glowing orbs in the tree are all jack-o-lanterns but they didn't photograph well.
Then this guy creeps me out right outside the front window. Will be glad when he comes down on Tuesday.
Happy Halloween everyone. Off to a party tonight though I am not thrilled. Not a party person. I am a lunch out with girls or dinner with hubby and home in jammies by eight kind of gal but I have to go. We are going as old school Star Trek characters. Captain Kirk is my date.

I love your photos Elaine! I like the glowing orbs just the way they photographed too! Such a fun and happy time for kids. Noah, Hannah and Claire are all a'twitter!!!!
Have a fun weekend!
I don't do scary stuff anymore. I definitely don't do scary movies. I don't like being scared.
But I have to admit, your house made me scream. It was the blend of the flowers with the lights and spooky characters that sent me over the top. Yep, I think I'm going to have nightmares tonight. :D LOL
Very cool. Your kids are much braver than me. Great fun! Love all the pics.
Have fun with your date...and your house looks great1 What a lot of work with that first house!!! ;D
Wow! Everything looks great Elaine! What fun! Will you post a photo of you and your hubby in costume? Have a great evening! I think we'll be digging out of the storm tonight-should be fine for Halloween night!

Have a fantastic time.
The decorations are amazing. I swear I saw someone I know in that second pic :)
Love the skeletons hanging outside your windows! Too funny! Your family did a great job. :)
I'm such a big fat chicken that I'm even afraid of the photos. I can't figure out whether that flying skeleton reminds me more of a scene from "Fiddler on the Roof" or "Darby O'Gill and the Little People".
Skeeeeery.
Amazing! I would love for my house to look like this at Halloween. Maybe next year we will make more of an effort! This year I will appreciate your. thank you for sharing, Sally xx
Gosh, how long did it take to get everything together?
Have a good time at your party.
You went all out didn't you? Well done♥
Your photos are wonderful! Halloween can be so much fun! Please post you and Captain Kirk in uniform! Have fun at the party!
;D How much fun!
Oh Elaine, Hallelujah, I found another gal who isn't a "party person". I really dread going out to halloween parties and yet, here I am getting ready for one with my husband. He likes to get out and mingle, I would rather stay home and clean/rearrange/play house.....well you know what I mean.
Love to ya,
Debbie
wowser....that house is spooktacular!!! I was in your neck of the woods yesterday..had lunch with the hubby at North Woods Inn....yummmm!!!!
Your house looks great! My husband is not one for decorating the outside of the house. I'm with you about not wanting to go to parties. But I do have fond memories of Halloween parties when we were younger.
I made Star Trek costumes for my boys years ago. Not an easy pattern!
I love Haunted Houses. Been years since I have been to one. This one looks very scary and fun. Also love your house decorations!
I love seeing houses decorated for Halloween! Thank you for sharing! Yours looks good, too!
I love that people are going all out in decorating for Halloween! It is truly a holiday for children. You have some great decorations on your house, and I love the jack-o-lanterns in the tree!
