I saw these the other day on the The Cozy Little Kitchen's blog and made them that very same afternoon. They are nutty and chewy with just a few ingredients I always have on hand. This will be my perfect go to recipe when I need a dessert in a flash. Head on over to The Cozy Little Kitchen for a look around and the recipe.
The kids kept asking what was for dessert and what are those and I said there was one for everyone after dinner. I loved that I made dessert from the pantry with ingredients I had on hand. They were gone in five minutes.

Elaine, those look delish! And they also look like a dutch treat we always used to get from the bakery. I am going to have to check the recipe and see if they have the same ingredients, oh yum!

Thank you for sharing :)
I made a batch of these bars - was not expecting them to be so good with no butter - but they were delicous and a big hit with all my family. Their only complaint was they ran out too fast.
Thank you for a sharing this thrifty and lower-calorie dessert.
Boy do those look great! And so fast and easy! Thanks for sharing! And I love your red polka dot background! :)
