In Target this week to do my stock up of pet food and some other necessities. I had only $40 cash and that was all I was going to allow myself to spend. In fact I am thinking of implementing the envelope system for myself as a challenge to really stay within a budgeted amount for each category of shopping and entertainment. Anyway, I am wandering but they are really starting to mark down. I am sure new spring lines are coming but I saw these little cheap clocks. Just plastic but colorful none the less and I needed a new one for my little office re-do and I grabbed the yellow one cause it was such a cheery color and I may hang it in the kitchen. We have no clocks in this house so at $1.98 a piece, they came home with me. Check out those end caps and clearance tags throughout the store. They had some great dishes marked down to but they would have exceeded my allowance for today so I passed them up.

I did my shopping in there today. Target is right next to my grocery store. So about every two weeks, I go into Target and stock up on things that are cheaper than the grocery store. Then I unload into the Pathfinder, go into the grocery store, and get my fruit and such. All the Walmarts close to me are called Markets and only have groceries. So I use this other system. I'd rather go into Target anyway. I was on a mission though and did not allow myself to look around! I have to have clocks, but they can't tick.

i've never met any one who does not own a clock. interesting. i have them every where. on the stove, microwave, tv, dvd player, alarm clock, radios, & i'm probably forgetting a few i'm sure. what a cute clock. a great find. i love target. could get lost in there for hours. (:

Target is probably my favorite place to shop. I usually spend more than I planned when I'm there :) These clocks are so cute! We have clocks all over our house though. I'm a bit of a clock fanatic :)

What a steal of a deal! And I like the colors of the clocks. They will look great in your home! And I thought I got a great deal yesterday on the hydrangea @ $4.99!!! I feel like a big spender now! So you are a follower of Dave Ramsey's with the envelope system. I swear it works because you don't want to let go of the dead presidents as easily as writing a check or using a credit card. I swear there is something psychological to it!
