Sunny Simple Sunday

Welcome to Sunny Simple Sunday. Is it hot where you are. Baby it is hot here. Just trying to stay cool as a cucumber.
Now for some highlights from last week.
Okay, is this not darling?
If you haven't already seen what she made this out of you have to go visit My Creatively Vintage Life.

I have been wanting to add more white and black basics in my dining area and am just so drawn to this.

Now you will love this bathroom makeover and it was in a rental too so it shows that accessories sure can make the room. Go take a peak at The Cozy Old Farmhouse.

And because I drool over other people's gardens, Stoney Acres has a garden harvest report. That is a little pumpkin there. I am so jealous as I cannot grow one for the life of me. I have a great vine but no pumpkins. Happens every year.

Have a wonderful weekend and Simple Sunday and now for Sunday's Blog Link Party:

I follow the gal that did the bathroom in the rental. Isn't she just so talented! And do you see the deals she gets at sales on Fridays? I want to live where she lives! LOL!
I grew pumpkins accidently one year. The halloween pumpkin rotted and feel off the porch and by the time I noticed it the next Spring/Summer....I had pumpkins! Maybe you're trying too hard. LOL! Have a great weekend and stay cool! It's hot again here too and all next week! Whew!

ok before I click over the see this art work... I'm going to guess, it's a piece of aluminum siding? a shot in the dark, I know...
I've been reading The Cozy Old Farmhouse, and missed that post too... so that bathroom with those shudders looks wonderful.
And as for pumpkin. I've not ever tried. But! I have tried to grow a pepper...and STILL HAVE NOT! I have plants...not one pepper.

Isn't that weird how some people can grown something and others can't?

Staying cool here...

I am so over this heat. It was hard even to venture out today. Stay cool, if you can. Patty

Great photos.
Sometimes we over feed squash or pumpkins and they put all their energy into green leaves and none into pumpkins. Try feeding less next year.
Stay cool.

Hello Elaine~ the humidity gets to me here in the land of Disney...not used to it. Blah. Love the features in this post. Wish we had room for a big in-ground garden. Our sunflowers are doing well, though! Happy Sunday~

I do my best not to whine about the heat, but today I was in one sore mood. It's just exhausting.

Looks like a great Sunday party.

I really like what was done with that bathroom. Very nice. I'm wishing I had some pumpkins growing this year, but I don't.

Last year we had a pumpkin vine "volunteer" in Jim's garden. Must be a little birdie dropped a seed there. It produce three pumpkins - guess we were lucky.

Hi Elaine, thanks so much for the party and the features are wonderful. I wish I had room to plant pumpkins. The first year we moved here I found some seeds that I had for years. I decided to plant them and they grew great. Much to my surprise i got 5 or 6 good sized pumpkins. Things have filled in alot now and don't have alot of room to try them again.
Hugs,
Jann
