I fell in love with this economical trim when I saw it at a friend's house. You can get it at any educational supply store.
I added some to my little glass front cupboard.
Even the phone station gets a little holiday cheer.
You can see Shelly's most adorable house at Christmas here and here.

i love your telephone. so vintage looking. fun, fun, fun!! ( :
You know what, after you mentioned the check paper I was all over the internet, searching and searching with no luck. Ah, so it's the educational supply store, here's hoping the one near me has it! If not, I'll go online to try to find it. You know what else? I saw your gorgeous Pyrex through the window of your cabinet, that's my favorite Pyrex pattern in the whole world and if I could find more at the thrift store I'd buy every piece, isn't it lovely?! Mary
It looks great I love your phone. when a 5 and dime when out here I bought up some shelf paper that had the front design. I just love it.

The checked border is for teachers at schools for the bulletin boards! Go to a teachers school shop and they will have tons of different ones!!!!
I have them for all seasons and even Mary Engelbriet sells some on her online site....
They are very inexpensive and fun to use.....:)

Oh I love that check trim, so cute. I have no glass at all in the kitchen, or any open cupboards, but I love how it looks in your cabinets. Hugs, Marty

Hi Elaine,
I am so glad you stopped by my blog and became a follower. I am now following you too! I love your decorating it is so cottagey and cute! I trimmed by cabinets with lace. I never would have thought of using the trim paper that you used. That is a great idea.
