Getting back to normal around here. Always sad to see the Christmas decor be packed away but the restoration of normal is also very comforting. Things back where they belong. Had a nice day. Decided to wake the girls up and head out for an early breakfast and then a trip to the camera store for a new lens cap and cleaner.
Now for a few features from last week:
A Sugar and Salt Scrub recipe from Family Home and Life. Perfect for that dry winter skin.
Call Her Blessed shares her "Pantle" with us. A piano that doubles as a mantle. Hey I have have one of those too. I love the winter scene she has set.

Happy New Year, Elaine! xo
Thinking about packing up Christmas here. ;-)
Thanks for hosting.......Sarah
Hi Elaine,
Yes...It's about time to pack up the Christmas stuff and move into just winter. One of the reasons I like snowmen is because they get to stay out a long time here in Central Oregon. Last year we actually had a few snowflakes in June.
Before we know it the time for pastels will be here. I love decorating for Spring, too.
Your wonderful blog has motivated me to try this coming year to get much more organized! Thanks for the boost, my dear friend!
Blessings,

I am off to visit a few of your links- xo Diana
Thank you for hosting a great blog party! The VW is absolutely adorable! And for the pantle, that looks familiar ;) Thank you lots for the feature! Happy New Year!
Hi Elaine, thanks so much for the feature. You made my day! I too like getting back to normal. Well, sort of. I always leave a bit of Winter out for January. Loved the Pantel and I think I am in dire need of that salt scrub. Thanks for hosting and have a wonderful New Year!
Hugs,
Jann

Hi Elaine! My country is said to have the longest Xmas celebration. We don't remove Xmas decors until the feast of Three Kinds. LOL
Happy 2013!

Definitely need to pack up the Christmas. Hope you have a very Blessed, Prosperous, Healthy and Happy New Year. Hugs, Marty
Hi Elaine. Yes it's sad to pack away and, for a while, everything seems bare but it feels like a new start. Love and blessings for the New Year. Joan
you post great pictures. Have you ever mentioned what kind of camera you use- just wondering since you said it needed a new lens cap.
I would like a new camera but it can't be the least bit complicated....
Thanks for the party! I hope you've had a good day. I put a few things away...still have a lot to do another day! Happy New Year!
Happy New Year to you and your family. I am excited about the challenge this year and anxious to get going.
Hi ELaine,

I loved this post and thank you for posting about the scrub. I"m going to check it out now. We have forced air electric heat and my skin on my face and body always get so dry and flaky maybe this will help. Thank you again! :)
